About Author:
Ustaz Muhammad Ma’az Sallim is the Executive Imam of Al-Taqua Mosque and Solemnizer (Naib Kadi) in the Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM).
Ustaz Muhammad Ma’az has experience in teaching Islam at various reputable institutions, such as PERGAS and Darul Arqam. In 2013, he was among the 16 Asatizah who were selected to participate in program for 1 month in Egypt, obtaining a Certificate in Science of Fatwa Formulation awarded by the prestigious Fatwa Institution in Egypt.
He receives his early formal education at Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Law in Cairo. In 2011, he then obtained a Master’s Degree in International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) majoring in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage, and specializing in Fiqh & Usul al-Fiqh.
