Daisy Lee – Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice for Women 2022
Discover deep self-care and renewal with simple (yet powerful) Qigong movements to balance your emotions, release past trauma, and nourish your spirit.
We are all things… we’re vital and strong, gentle and graceful. When we can
balance and harmonize, we’re more effective in the world.
We can have peace in our bodies.
— Daisy Lee
Your body is designed to heal and rebalance itself…
It just needs guidance… from YOU.
Just as the lotus flower rises up from its roots in the mud through the movement of water…
… Qigong can help you open and blossom while releasing stress, breaking old patterns, and grounding you in your natural grace and presence — allowing your authentic gifts to flourish.
When you’re balanced — mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually — you’re able to align with your natural vitality and rhythms… and your ability to heal.
And with daily stresses and challenges (personal and collective) draining the life force from our bodies and emotions, the need to be rooted in our own wisdom has never been greater.
The marginalization of women in the media and the polarizing political climate can elevate stress and unground us. Even the joy of hosting family and friends can deplete your energy, trigger past wounds, or make you vulnerable to stress or illness.
The Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice for Women, developed by renowned Qigong teacher Daisy Lee, offers dynamic (yet gentle) techniques for healing and empowerment.
The power of the Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice is in how women can heal, nourish, and harmonize their bodies, emotions, and minds…
Practicing or “playing” Qigong (as Daisy likes to say!) — dissolves blockages in your flow of Qi, enabling your full life-force energy to move smoothly and radiate out into all aspects of your daily life.
Whether you’re experiencing a health challenge and want to accelerate your healing… or longing to increase your energy, reduce stress, and improve your mental focus… you can find new and deeper levels of wellbeing.
The Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice For Women is especially designed to empower you to actively participate in your own self-care and renewal.
The movements, attention to breath, and visualizations may seem gentle or even passive, yet they’re incredibly powerful…
When combined with proper nutrition and the emotional release techniques taught by Daisy, this vitalizing, easy-to-master Qigong practice has empowered countless women to reclaim their personal health and wellbeing.
Learn from the Creator of the Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice
In this training, Daisy Lee, a respected leader in the Qigong world, will guide you to learn and integrate the Radiant Lotus Qigong path into your daily life.
“Radiant Lotus” is the translation of Daisy’s Toisanese name, “Yim Lin.” Named after her Great Aunt Lin Oi (“Lotus Love”), a kung fu teacher and compassionate healer in southern China, Daisy began to fully appreciate the name her parents had given her at birth when she deepened her Qigong practice.
The death of Daisy’s first husband and both her parents inspired her to return to her native culture to learn safe, non-invasive practices that boost natural immunity as well as prevent and treat ill health. She found her answers in the 5,000-year-old self-healing art of Qigong.
Daisy saw the pristine lotus blossom rising up through stagnant, murky waters as a symbol of every person’s ability to overcome their deepest challenges by accepting and letting go of the past and embracing the light within.
The foundation of Radiant Lotus Qigong is a philosophy of compassionate action, positive self-reflection, and leading by example with gentle strength.
Daisy has accumulated more than 20 years of teaching experience, including her work at Johns Hopkins, Mount Sinai, Women’s College hospitals, and in workshops with women all over the world. She has also mentored Olympic athletes and martial artists.
During this empowering journey of deep healing and self-care, you’ll discover:
- A Qigong movement to vertically align your body between Earth and Sky — and cultivate stable “lead energy” that strengthens your body and harmonizes your emotions
- The “Showering Qi” movement, to wash away the residues of stress
- A powerful Energy Test that will demonstrate how your thoughts can weaken or strengthen your body — blocking or increasing the flow of Qi
- The “Lotus Rises” movement, a poetic, flowing signature movement that opens joints and releases stress
- Qi Activation — “Shaking It Up and Out” — a movement to deliberately create a level of “chaotic” Qi to release stagnant energetic debris as well as energy that may have gotten trapped in the joints and tissues
- How to relieve “liver heat,” or stagnated Qi associated with anger, in one of the body’s key organs
- Qigong breath practices to help you slow down and speak your truth with positive intention and an open heart
- Lower-body and upper-body sound-healing practices to clear blocked Qi in your bones, tissues, and blood
- The “Swimming Dragon” movement to clear your abdomen of Qi stagnations due to over-indulging
- How to review past trauma gently and repair it, using your body and energy to process the indignities, injustices, and losses
Flourishing in the Second Spring of Your Life
If you feel you’ve lost your life force because you no longer have an ability to bring forth human life, this is actually a time of rebirth for YOU. Many women turn to their creative projects, and manage their bodies with more care…
Chinese Medicine calls this the “Second Spring,” when many women, especially in the West, may feel disempowered, exhausted, and overwhelmed by accelerated emotional and physiological changes.
Perhaps YOU have entered your second Spring, a time of life which is actually honored in China…
It’s a season not of loss, but of changing circumstances and new possibilities… meeting your soulmate (in your beloved or in someone new), caring for aging parents, or committing to a vision you had put on the back burner.
Qigong is your opportunity to slow down and use your own energy to build strength and empower yourself, allowing you to weather, and even welcome, this new season of life.
Daisy explains that women have a tendency to contain information, especially emotional information, in the fatty tissues of the body… the breasts and lower body.
The techniques she’s developed can break up stagnations in the breasts and uterus, including benign tumors, cysts, and fibroids.
What You’ll Discover in These 7 Modules
In this 7-module transformational intensive, Daisy will guide you through the fundamental spiritual skills and competencies you’ll need to integrate and sustain your Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice.
The course will feature teachings of Qigong practices specific to women for enhancing health and longevity. Daisy will begin each class with a sitting meditation for 10 minutes, followed by a 30-minute teaching and a 20-minute pre-produced Qigong demonstration.
Each session will build harmoniously upon the previous ones so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles forming the foundation of this unique path of healing for women.
Module 1: Transforming Stress & Practicing Deep Self-Care
Qigong Movements to Stabilize Your Lead Energy
Stress shows up internally as energy blocks in our tissues, particularly the breasts and womb. By virtue of our physiological and emotional design, women tend to put others before themselves, acting on behalf of the family or tribe so that life can flourish. This selfless mindset, however, can create energy blocks and contraction in the body.
Qigong empowers you to release stress and make life-affirming choices — including how you respond to triggering events and victimizing narratives in your relationships, communities, and newsfeed. In this first session, Daisy will help clear stress-related energy blocks, stabilize your “lead” energy, and begin a practice of deep self-care.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- A powerful Energy Test that will demonstrate how your thoughts can weaken or strengthen your body — blocking or increasing the flow of Qi
- A Qigong movement to align your body between Earth and Sky, and cultivate stable “lead energy” that strengthens your body and harmonizes your emotions
- Qi Activation — “Shaking It Up and Out” — a movement to deliberately create a level of “chaotic” Qi to release stagnant energetic debris as well as energy that may have gotten trapped in the joints and tissues
Module 2: Qigong’s Intention-Setting, Mindfulness & Breath Practices
Finding Opportunity in Difficult Emotions & Challenging Situations
Given that our physical form is made up of 75 percent water, energy in the form of our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions influences our bodies at the deepest level… in our cells. The effect of consciousness (energy) on matter (form) is described as the “Hado Effect” by Dr. Masaru Emoto in reference to the effects of positive vibrations of consciousness (in this case, a single word such as “gratitude”) on water when frozen — creating intricate, beautiful crystals.
In this second session, Daisy will show you how Qigong can help you be mindful of your thoughts and words — and utilize the power of your breath to generate positive intentions and vibrations of beauty, joy, peace, and gratitude.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- A Qigong mindfulness practice to bring awareness to negative thoughts, words, and emotions
- Heart-opening exercises to stimulate nourishing, positive vibrations of energy in your body
- How to relieve “liver heat,” or stagnated Qi associated with anger, in one of the body’s key organs
- Qigong breath practices to help you slow down and speak your truth with positive intention and an open heart
- A unique way to set positive intentions for challenging times
Module 3: Sound Practices for Womb Awareness
Transform Fear & Anxiety Into Discernment & Intuition
In Qigong, sound-healing practices help break down blocked energy in the tissues, bones, and blood. The healing wave is activated by your own voice. In this session, Daisy will share sound-healing practices from Tibet which are specific to women’s health for clearing stagnant Qi in the upper and lower body — so you can reclaim your authentic voice.
Women’s voices are powerful… when we’re not fearful or anxious. The sound practices you’ll learn in this session will clear blocked emotions and reinvigorate your upper and lower body. A beautiful singing voice is not necessary — simply open to the healing possibilities in the many expressions of your authentic voice.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- Lower-body and upper-body sound practices to clear blocked Qi in your bones, tissues, and blood
- Powerful Tibetan Qigong sound-healing practices to open you to your authentic self and voice
- The “Swimming Dragon” movement to clear your abdomen of Qi stagnations due to over-indulging
- The rigorous practice of Belly-Shrinking Qigong to get the energy flowing in your lower body (and yes, it can shrink your tummy!)
Module 4: Finding Balance Through Presence
The Power of the Pause
As women, we tend to fall out of energetic alignment very easily. We can be pulled horizontally in a thousand different ways — and thrown off center by the needs of others. The need to control others and external circumstances may arise, as we lose connection with our bodies, needs, and desires.
Through Qigong, you can manage this tendency and “pause for poise,” returning your attention to the present and the body. The movements Daisy will share in this session will realign you with the Earth and Sky. You’ll discover how to mitigate the speed of accelerated change — whether it’s due to intensifying dynamics in your relationships and our world, shifting hormones and emotions, or new spiritual understandings.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- Wisdom to help align yourself vertically when you’ve “gone horizontal” with your energy and attention
- Two breath techniques to restore balance and return you to the present, where your true power is
- “Shower Power,” a second way to do the “Showering Qi” movement to wash away the residues of energy that have collected in the mind and body
- How vertical alignment will ALWAYS be your source of balance and inspiration
Module 5: How to Stop Qi Leaks
The Keys to Empowerment & Inner Peace
Your emotions rise or fall, and plans are made, changed, or nixed — and the next day you must rise like a phoenix to once more meet the challenges that will most assuredly come. Qigong practice connects you with your life-force energy so you can navigate rather than react to changing emotions and situations.
In this session, you’ll explore where you’re “leaking” Qi due to expectations (your own and others), and the actions of those around you. You’ll refocus your energy on what is hopeful and healing rather than damaging or demeaning… and reclaim your power.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- How to honor the (conscious and unconscious) agreements you’ve made with loved ones, modify them as needed, or recommit to doing your part
- How to access your inner wisdom so you can do your part and be at peace regardless of other people’s choices
- Insights to help you revitalize a stagnant relationship for growth and expansion for everyone involved
- The “Flying Phoenix” movement, Version 2 — Daisy’s balancing movement, with a surprising twist for deeper empowerment and peace
Module 6: The Lotus Rises Through the Water
Restoring Grace, Dignity & Self-Confidence
Just as the lotus takes only the useful nutrition from mud that helps it grow, any health challenges, difficult transitions, early trauma, and painful relationships in the muck of life are actually nourishment for your healing and growth.
The “Lotus Rises” signature movement you’ll learn in this session can be used to process stuck and difficult emotions. Your body and energy will join to review the past — yet not get stuck there, opening joints and releasing stuck energy.
Like the rising lotus, you’ll begin to embody dignity and grace… taking only the nutrients you need from your past.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- You no longer have to give your energy to your past… you can repair it, using your body and energy to process indignities, injustices, and losses
- The “Lotus Rises” movement — a poetic, flowing signature movement which opens joints and releases stress
- How to use “Lotus Rises” to experience a deep sense of grace, dignity, and self-confidence in your body
- A Qigong technique to help you process grief and anger
- Acupressure points to relieve headaches and improve digestion
Module 7: Growing Deeper Roots & Reaching for the Star of Your Higher Self
The Lotus Blossom Meditation
It’s been said that the only constant is change. When the winds of change are blowing very hard, our hearts can close out of fear — we may give over our power without realizing it, losing stability, flexibility, and contact with our higher wisdom.
The Lotus Blossom Meditation begins at the feet — our “roots,” which anchor and stabilize us in an uncertain world — then rises to our womb, and blossoms at our heart center (where women are most strong!). Reaching upwards to a unique star in the sky that represents our highest self, we rise towards the light — yet always return to reconnect to our hearts. This imagery, with the star always above us wherever we walk, puts us in alignment with the higher knowing of our true self, and yet stabilizes us on Mother Earth.
Ultimately, our Qigong practice helps stabilize us, reaffirms our commitment to self-care, and enables us to rise to meet whatever challenges come our way.
In this final session with Daisy, you’ll:
- Review the key elements of the Radiant Lotus Qigong practice
- Receive refinements in your practice of the signature “Lotus Rises” movement
- Reaffirm your commit to deep self-care
- Experience a fun emotional release technique — using sound to bring the energy up — as you take your practice out and into the world

“… a miraculous recovery… from the stroke.”
I had a mini stroke while out running. Within 48 hours after the stroke, I got out of the hospital bed and started doing Qigong. My neurologist said it was a miraculous recovery. I have no side effects from the stroke. Thank you, Daisy, from the bottom of my heart.
— Beverly Byron
“I’ve been helped with dealing with the emotions of grief…”
Daisy Lee is an awesome Qigong teacher. Since taking her classes, I’ve been helped with dealing with the emotions of grief and my overall health has benefited from practicing Qigong… I am very grateful to have Daisy come and teach us, and for the workshops with her guest teachers at Kahuna Valley.
— Lupita Poppler, Environmentalist and artist
“I had a lump on the side of my left chest… It is now gone.”
I have been doing the Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong everyday since I got back from China and love it. I had a lump on the side of my left chest. It was a good size. It is now gone. Also I can notice a difference in myself and how profound this work is. I have so many patients I know I can help by teaching them the tools of this type of Qigong. This is some amazing work!
— Cynthia Abbott, DTCM, BAS, CAEH Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist, Ontario, Canada
“I have not used my cane to walk since the workshop…”
In my younger years I was a 6-time World Champion in Kickboxing and Combat Fighting, but about five years ago my life changed after a bad accident on a motorcycle. For years I have been in pain, dealing with issues around my back, hips, and knees — so much so that I needed to use a cane just to walk. After just three hours at Daisy’s Qigong seminar, I was amazed how the movements and energy began to relax my body and release pain that was chronically affecting me. I see now how Qi or energy can be utilized to heal and strengthen the body, organs, and the mind. I have been consistent in using the techniques Daisy taught me in class, and through her DVDs I can continue to learn and understand how to heal myself along with those around me. I have not used my cane to walk since the workshop and am so very grateful to Daisy for teaching here in Colorado.
— Clarence Thatch, 3D Martial Arts, Colorado
“I have lost 10 pounds, stopped drinking alcohol…”
By the end of [my first Qigong class], I knew I’d found the pathway I’d been looking for. I practice (play) Qigong twice daily, with exercises from the Beginning Qigong DVD in the morning and the Organ Cleansing at night in the dark before I go to sleep. The benefits of my practice have been immediate and very profound. I have lost 10 pounds, stopped drinking alcohol, and have stopped taking Paxil, which was my crutch for anxiety. More importantly, I now also have a way to “wake up” my body and mind when I feel stuck, sluggish, or simply tired. I know that by incorporating this practice into my daily life, I have added quality to my life and probably years to it as well. I am forever grateful for this awakening.
— E. LaSota, Wedding videographer
“It had tremendous impact on my menstruation.”
After I finished the Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women workshop I felt very cleansed. It had tremendous impact on my menstruation. Never before I had such a long and cleansing menstruation… My favorite thing about the workshop was… pretty much everything. But foremost the very calming, respectful way of teaching by Daisy. She really walks her talk. Thanks for having given and shared so much… I hope that I sometime can give in return something to you, Daisy.
— Heide Fischer, Amsterdam, Netherlands
“My center feels strong…”
I feel as though there is a greater inter-connectedness between all of my body parts than there has been in awhile. My center feels strong, and “everyone” from the organs to the mind, hands, arms, and legs seem to be communicating well! What’s more, yesterday I was feeling hints of activity in my ovaries! I had not had a period since May. For the last three years, each one was a gift and a surprise… but there has been no regularity. It was so nice to feel some energy in this area yesterday… makes me feel a bit more like a woman! I feel honored and blessed to have met you and to have been introduced to Qigong.
— Amy G., Vini-Yoga Teacher, Colorado
“I trust Daisy implicitly…”
Daisy Lee creates a climate of safety, trust, confidence, and commitment in the people she guides and nurtures. Her approach and manner are so gentle and compassionate that it is perhaps only afterward that people realize how powerful her effect on them has been. I trust Daisy implicitly when it comes to matters of wellness and balance.
— Maya Soetoro-Ng, Program developer, Obama Foundation, Asia Pacific Leadership

I deeply respect Daisy and appreciate her work. The Radiant Lotus Qigong Practice gave me tools to take care of my physical health. It empowers me and helps me to find my own voice as a woman. I’m connecting to the universe now deeper than ever before, and everyday practice reminds me what is truly important in life.
— Satu Posti, meditation teacher, Finland
“… my mind and body experienced immediate results.”
Throughout the years, I have taken many different classes and therapies to lower my stress level. Although relatively new to Qigong, I was surprised at how quickly my mind and body experienced immediate results. Daisy, alone, has such a calmness that is quite contagious. She is also very patient and open. I wish I had found her years ago.
— Rebecca Lans, Kauai, Hawaii
“… life will never look the same again.”
A big thank you for your teaching. It was very special to meet you and to listen to your life experiences and wisdom. Furthermore, I got a clear experiential sense of the flow of Qi, and life will never look the same again. I will follow this up with practice for the benefit of my future acupuncture patients.
— Bettina, Student of TCM, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia

“I am feeling so much better overall…”
I wanted to tell you how much I have learned from attending your classes. You are a lifesaver and I do not know what I would do without you in my life. Thanks for being you and reaching out to the world to bring peace, love, and harmony to those who come into contact with you.
— Lyndall Radeczi, Michael’s Cookies, Kauai, Hawaii
“It was just so profound!”
I just have to share with you that on Thursday morning I had the most amazing meditation that I can ever remember. I did my usual practices, then I added [Daisy’s] Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women… The meditation lasted an hour and 45 minutes and I was watching myself being with a huge golden Buddha head. I felt I was with him in person and could watch myself and my excitement at being there. It was just so profound! When I returned to conscious awareness, I didn’t know what time of day it was for about five minutes. Wow — I love that!
— Suellyn Hampton, certified Ortho-Bionomist and healer, Kauai, Hawaii
“… definitely life-changing for me.”
Last night I slept almost 10 hours, something I have not done in a very, very long time and definitely not in the past two months when the muscle cramps in my legs became severe. The best part is Daisy Lee’s presentation on longevity — one of the moves involved swinging your legs, one at a time, in opposite directions from your arms. The move created heat in my legs and they felt really good, no muscle relaxants. I will be practicing this every day. The seminar is definitely life-changing for me.
— Danielle Taylor, San Diego, California
